Terms & Conditions

Last updated October 7, 2026

Partwright is operated by Alexander Moros Jacobsen in Norway ("Partwright", "we", "us"). These terms describe your use of the Partwright website, workspaces, model-building tools, exports and connected-agent services.

Check your design before printing. AI-generated models, previews and successful builds are not a guarantee that a physical print will fit, function, look or perform as you expect. Review and test your design for its intended use. The limitations below do not remove your mandatory legal rights.

1. Using Partwright

Use Partwright lawfully and only with content you are entitled to use. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or submit code intended to harm other users or systems. Keep your account secure and only authorize agents and workspace members you trust.

You are responsible for instructions you give to agents and for reviewing the changes you authorize. Agents can make mistakes. You can revoke a connected agent's access on the Connections page. Revocation does not undo previously completed actions.

2. Your models and content

You retain any rights you have in your uploaded content and designs. You permit us to store, process, build and display that content as needed to provide the service and share it with the workspace members and agents you authorize. These terms do not guarantee that AI-generated output is unique, eligible for intellectual-property protection or free of third-party rights.

3. Design review and print results

Partwright provides modeling tools, not engineering certification or a promise of manufacturing suitability. A successful build means the system produced model files; it does not confirm strength, stability, fit, safety or printability.

Before exporting, arranging a print or using a printed part, review:

Screen previews and colour swatches are illustrative. Physical prints can show layer lines, support marks, surface variation and material-dependent differences in colour or dimensions. No particular manufacturing tolerance is promised unless expressly agreed for an order. Such variations do not excuse a failure to meet agreed specifications or mandatory quality requirements.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Partwright is not liable for an unsuitable or disappointing print result caused by errors in a design you supply or approve, incorrect measurements, unsuitable material choices, or printing settings or modifications outside our control. This does not excuse our own breach of an agreed obligation or any responsibility that the law places on us.

Do not rely on an unvalidated model or print for medical, protective, structural or other safety-critical use. Independent testing and any required professional or regulatory approval must come before such use.

4. Print orders, delivery and complaints

When ordering a print through Partwright, review the exact model version, dimensions, parts, quantities, materials, colours, delivery address and total price before confirming. Only the version and specifications identified in your order are included; later changes to a model do not change an existing order.

A preview, successful build or price estimate is not acceptance of an order or a promise to manufacture. The seller's identity, order-acceptance conditions, final price, delivery information and any additional sales terms must be provided before you commit to a purchase. Additional order terms do not override mandatory consumer rights.

Delivery dates described as estimates are not guaranteed dates, but this does not remove any agreed delivery obligation or your legal rights if delivery is late. Printing may involve third-party manufacturing and delivery providers; their involvement does not remove obligations owed to you by the seller.

If a print is damaged, defective, missing or does not meet the agreed specifications, contact us at alexmj044@gmail.com with your order reference and a description of the issue. Photos may help us investigate, but do not replace or limit your legal rights. Repair, replacement, price reduction, cancellation and refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law and the order agreement. No blanket "no refunds" policy applies.

Custom-made goods may be exempt from a statutory change-of-mind withdrawal right where the law permits and the required information is provided before purchase. This is separate from your rights concerning defects, incorrect items or non-delivery. Contact us promptly if you want to change or cancel an order; manufacturing progress may affect voluntary changes, but not mandatory remedies.

If you print an exported model yourself or order directly from a separate supplier outside Partwright, your agreement with that supplier governs its work. These terms do not remove any responsibility Partwright has for its own service.

5. Service availability and liability

Partwright is an evolving service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free output or that every model will build successfully. Keep copies of files you need. These statements do not reduce any service-quality obligations imposed by law.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business profits, arising from use of Partwright. We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, mandatory product liability, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

6. Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law, including rights concerning faulty goods or digital services. A print being custom-made does not by itself remove rights relating to defects. Any lawful exception to a change-of-mind cancellation right is separate from rights where an item is defective or does not meet the agreed description.

Norwegian law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections available to you under the law that applies where you live. These terms do not restrict your right to bring a claim before a court or dispute-resolution body available to you under applicable law.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Partwright changes. The date above identifies this version. Where legally required, we will notify you of material changes and obtain agreement before they take effect. Changes do not retrospectively alter an existing order agreement.

For questions or complaints, contact Alexander Moros Jacobsen at alexmj044@gmail.com. Include the relevant project, model version or order reference where available.
