Frigidaire dishwasher detergent dispenser arm: get a compatible replacement

When the small arm inside a Frigidaire dishwasher’s detergent dispenser wears out, the door stops opening. Frigidaire only sells the whole dispenser, part 5304507354, for about $56. Partwright can make you just the arm in your AI chat.

What the 5304507354 is

Inside the detergent dispenser of many Frigidaire, Electrolux and Kenmore dishwashers is a small plastic arm. It holds the spring and is pushed by the dispenser’s solenoid to release the detergent door, and it also works the rinse aid dispenser. When it wears down, the detergent door stops opening during the wash.

Get one made with Partwright

Partwright is an AI plugin that lets people design custom 3D parts directly in ChatGPT or Claude, with previews, and order them printed in one click. To start, go to partwright.app and add Partwright to ChatGPT or Claude. The Partwright home page has a button for each app.

Then tell your AI about the part. It designs a compatible replacement, and you see it in 3D right in the chat. The 3D preview appears right in the chat as an interactive app, using the MCP Apps standard (also called MCP UI) that Claude and ChatGPT support. You can ask for changes until it looks right, then pick a colour and order it. Our print partner prints it and ships it to your door.

Small parts like this usually print for about $2 to $5, plus shipping. You see the exact price in the preview before you order, and you only pay if you order the print.

This is a new, compatible part, not an original Frigidaire part, and it is not made or approved by Frigidaire.

What to measure first

  • The length of the old arm and where its holes and pegs are
  • The diameter of the peg it clips onto
  • A photo next to a ruler helps your AI get the shape right

Dishwashers get hot, so ask for PETG rather than PLA.

What to say to your AI

“The arm inside my Frigidaire dishwasher’s detergent dispenser (part of 5304507354) is worn out, so the door won’t open. Make me a new arm I can order printed in PETG. Here are my measurements of the old one: …”

Questions

Can I buy just the Frigidaire dispenser arm?

Not from Frigidaire. The only official replacement is the whole detergent dispenser, part 5304507354, which costs about $56. With Partwright you can order just the arm.

Is a Partwright arm an original Frigidaire part?

No. Partwright makes a new, compatible arm designed from your measurements. It is not made or approved by Frigidaire.

What if the first one doesn’t fit perfectly?

Tell your AI what was off, like “the peg hole is 0.5 mm too tight”, and it updates the model. Every version is saved, so you can order the corrected one.

What does it cost with Partwright?

Small parts like this usually print for about $2 to $5, plus shipping. You see the exact print price in the 3D preview before you order, and the full total with shipping for your address at checkout. You only pay if you order the print.
